LILLA'S PROFILE
Lilla began working in the industry whilst still at university and spent several months at UK distributor NBDtv which is now part of the DCD Media Group.
Following graduation she moved to Australia and worked as a production Manager at Burundi Pictures in Darwin where she was responsible for co-ordinating factual, commercial and feature film shoots.
On returning to the UK she spent some time in production before joining British Pathe as Sales & Marketing Executive. During her time there she assisted the company in developing internationally saleable ideas that utilised the enormous Pathe archive.
In 1999 she was asked to take up the position of Director of TVF International, one of the UK's leading factual distribution specialists. Whilst there she significantly grew the catalogue and team, establishing the company as a leading factual specialist.
In 2001 RDF launched its Indie Producers Fund and asked Lilla to oversee it. During her three years there she secured the exclusive representation of the Court TV catalogue as well as introducing many new indie relationships to the company.
In 2004 Channel Five created a co-production department to assist in supplementing programme budgets and invited Lilla to run it. She spent 4 years there sourcing finance for all genres and helped to finance shows such as Suburban Shootout, Tripping Over, Banged Up Abroad, Revealed & Extraordinary People.
SERVICES
Lillavision Ltd was launched in May 2008 in response to the growing demand from producers, broadcasters and distributors to source pre-sales and co-production finance for programme ideas.
More and more often ideas are being part-commissioned, leaving a deficit in the budget to be closed through alternative funding and it is the aim of Lillavision to close this gap through sourcing pre-sales & co-production deals as well as seeking finance from private and regional funds.
Lillavison also works in partnership with international and regional funds and masterschools such as Discovery Campus on a consultancy and mentor basis.
